i'm not sure who thinks to search for a wedding photographer on instagram, but this girl did. beca, thank you for being that person. i will now be swearing by the power of social media phone apps.
i have no words to describe how lucky i felt to have photographed luke + kendra's wedding day. it was overwhelmingly beautiful: the horizon of a teal blue sea meeting silvery grey skies. the gentle white wave stumbling over dark, moody rocks. for photographers that live near a beach, it may seem mundane and cliche to photograph a wedding like this. but for this girl from the most boring state in the usa? it was quite the welcomed sight.
even more so than the aesthetic beauty, luke + kendra's wedding was filled to the brim and overflowing with everything that a wedding is in its essence. love, joy, happy tears, smiles, laughter, heartfelt words and kisses, hugs, imperfect details, good music, fellowship with the people nearest to your heart, and promises that last a lifetime. it was the perfect day.
luke + kendra, you both are such wonderful souls, and you inspire me. many blessings to you both as you begin a life together :)

their relationship is one of my favorites. dating long-distance is never easy or asked for, but these two fought for the love they knew was theirs. i'm so thankful to see these two reach this milestone, and i can't wait to be there to capture the next :)
